Talon Products Presents at IEEE PCIC

Talon Products presented a tutorial titled, “Cable Restraint Standards… The Good, the Bad and the Unknown” at the 2015 annual meeting of the IEEE IAS Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC) in Houston, Texas.  The tutorial was presented by Charles Darnell, president of Talon Products and Rob Breuhl, with SMR Gulf Coast.  The 1/2 day tutorial increased the awareness of cable movement during short circuits and discussed the proper application of standards relating to cable restraint products.  Engineers, designers, installers and inspectors were instructed on the principles and practices of proper cable restraint, including evaluation and inspection techniques for in-situ installations.
